Creative Inspiration

For this exhibition, 9Muses members were asked to express what inspires and drives them to create. Some members chose to explore themes involving literal food, while others dug deep into their imaginations to explore themes as diverse as homelessness, childcare, animal rights, and other serious topics that motivate them to make art. Others depicted scenes of calm and relaxation: their ideal environment for developing creative inspiration. Some went quite the opposite route, showing confusion, chaos, and turmoil in their work. All in all, the exhibit represents a diverse group of artists, who were tasked with addressing the same theme and produced wonderfully unique results.
